14 or 16mm front lower ball joitn bolt? + other questions

I couldn't break the lower shock bolt free and saw the plate on the UCA-body bolt was just barely too big to fit between the coils. I cut them down to be the width of the rest of the plate (it's wider around the bolt head by less than 1/8"). They slipped through and I got the arm installed.

I also decided not to do the lower ball joints. Too much work and risk. They aren't making any noise and the boots aren't torn, so I guess I'm good for a while...

Now I can go back to the fun stuff.

EDIT: drove the car and had serious wiggle. I got under it and was able to shorten the rear links easily with a wrench to the (nearly) proper toe. I had only used my hands to shorten them before. User error.
