Anyone using 13" cobra brakes on stock 16" wheels? I know some of the mustang guys grind the fins off of the calipers and squeeze them into 16" mustang wheels, just wondering if anyone has tried this with lincoln wheels.

Im most likely going to hub swap and just got with a 17 or 18" wheel, but i really do like my factory chrome wheels, i just hate how narrow they are and limited tire widths.... But i really want some better brakes.

The LAST thing I would do to a brake caliper is grind stuff off of it. Let alone the major structural ribs off of the top.

If your keeping the 16" wheels, do a GT upgrade.

To use the 13" brake kit you need 17" or bigger rims

be careful with absolutes, as that isn't true..

the Team Dynamic Pro Race 2s in 16" will clear 13" Cobra brakes. barely. no stick on weights. hammer on lip weights only.
