It's not a customers car, it's for sale, and there's nothing wrong with testing the car to make sure it's in proper working order. Before we put any used car for sale on the front line it's checked over by the mechanics but I decided to test drive it because I had never driven a gen 2 LS before, got a problem with that?
Who said I want to rev to redline with no load on the motor? I just wanted to rev it to 3-3500 which it did, but oh so slowly, like a sensor was unplugged or something.
How am I unqualified? They are my cars to sell, and I didn't know revving to 3000rpm to check for a potential issue with the car is doing a potential customer a disservice... they put a limiter at 3500rpm for a reason...
1. I wasn't trying to rev over 3500rpm, in fact I didn't even hit the limiter and I didn't realize there was a limiter until someone posted on here that it was there.
2. They put it at 3500rpm because it's really not bad for the motor unless you take it above 4000 or are taking it all the way to redline. I have done it on my current car and previous cars thousands of times and somehow they are still magically running...
