03-06 headlight question

Is this headlight equipped with HID? Seller indicates halogen but I didnt think the halogen's had a balast. I am considering having the angel eyes done on my 04 after seeing it on here. I have a slightly used driver's side head light lying around and will need the passenger side to work on the set. I dont have HID so wouldn't need that part.

i think it is a HID light - but i think you can get this item cheaper especially since this one has scuffs on it and does not seem like it can be removed easily.

I have found some others quite a bit cheaper ~$100 without the scuffs and HID balast. Still debating though... I know the angel eye set up will be expensive to do but well worth it in my opinion.
 
well it will be worth it by the way do you have HID's on your ls now if you dont then dont worry about them just get the it without the HID balast and by yourself a HID kit they are cheap now well not that cheap but since u in ebay now just find one for cheap.
 
The only way to tell is the yellow sticker on the back of the headlight. That one has the HID yellow warning label so it is an HID lamp. Also, the picture of the ballast is a dead give away too.
 
I do not currently have HID but really like the look and have also been considering those. The HID conversion would be much easier and cheaper than putting the halos in the 03+ headlight. I know the kit is available on LSK as well as ebay but am still undecided. I have never driven a car with HID but can spot them miles away on the highway... the look is awesome.
 
tell you the truth if i was you i would buy the anyel eye kit or you can find the headlamps with it installed already and just get a HID kit it should cost you around 600 for all that but if you ebay it you may find it cheaper
 
I have bought parts from this guy before when I had my Grand Prix. He is a really good guy and honest.

Yeah those look nice but I have an 04 LS. The 00-03 lights dont fit right with the 03+ bumper. I have read another post here before about angel eyes in an 03+ and it is a lot of work. Worth it for sure but I just dont think I have the proper tools to complete this project.... the HID's on the other hand will complete the look of the front end nicely. Does anyone have the part number for a chrome corner lamp (one that will light up amber)? That is the only other thing I can think of to do with my ride.

i would like to go 03 + headlight on my 01, i currently have the angel eyes, but i think i just want a clean look. i am going to do a search but what does it take to fit a new headlight on an 01. does anyone have some for sale, must be in very good condition. currently buffing out some new lenses for my lights, but i still cant get them as clean as i want.

My new '05 came with the factory HID's and the difference is unbelievable. I dont care much about how they look to others, but when driving it lights up the road like you wouldnt imagine.
 
in the title it says "Factory xenon". that would indicate hid....
