02 LSE rear lip?

i have an 02 lse that i bought rear ended. the OEM LSE rear bumper lip was missing.

im trying to price parts im about to order including the 2nd gen front bumper.

my question Is there an aftermarket replacement for the rear lip? or a rear bumper that comes with a lip?

is the 2nd gen rear bumper any different/lower/have lip/etc??

Gen2 rear valance has cutouts for the exhaust.

Gen1 does not.


If the last question is asking if both generations have the black/greyish plastic under the rear bumper - the answer is yes.

Also note, LSE models had a color matched valance in place of the above.

good luck trying to find an lse rear valence but if you do youll be shelling out like 5-700 bucks

which model and generations rear bumper would make my car look complete (as it has LSE side skirts and will have a new 2nd gen LSE bumper

Get a gen2 lse rear valence. Or you can get the grey and paint to match.

Keep one thing in mind that if you get a Gen 2 bumper, it will go on but it will not match up to where the trunk closes down to the bumper. There is a difference between the first gen trunk and the second being in the way that the surround is shaped. This was discussed before on here and rembember posting on the topic of a pic that I found. If I can find it, I will post it here.

okay so gen2 rear bumper is a no go?

i cant find ANY kind of rear valence or lip at all on the internet for sale except for the wings west and horrid fiberglass razzi kit etc..

i just want the bottom of the rear to be finished or complete looking. i would settle for a non LSE lip/valence, or anything that would finish the rear off for me even the gray thing if it looked decent paint matched, (still dont know where to buy this though)

It won't fit. rear plate suround are smaller on gen2 than gen 1

It will fit but it will just look odd. I've seen it done.

you need to change the trunk lid to fit with second gen bumper.
