Going to restore lens covers on headlights, both are dingy and one has moisture. Went through old threads on this subject and am going to try the 3M product. Any tricks to lens removal that I should be aware of? Thanks

Dig in the search function. There was a nice thread back in the fall regarding lens restoration. Post some before and after pics once you begin to tackle it.

Thanks for the feedback. The moisture inside the drivers side must come from a hairline crack that I can't see. I may have to replace it.

lamix would seal that crack. Just polish the lens then apply the vinyl.

It may just be from the seal. If you can check what color the sealant is it would help. If it's grey then that might be the problem. Just bake them, separate them, clean out the old sealant from the groove, and reapply some black RTV. The put them back together. Now if the sealant is black it won't bake. You would have to dremel them to separate them.
