0-60

I would tell you mine, but someone will call bull so I want to get video evidence first :P lol But I too am not stock, I dont think many here are!

5.86 is my best 0-60
usually they are on the 5.90 range.

I may be wrong, but I think the factory book said 0 to 6 in 6.4 seconds?

if anyone trusts gtech pro ss
my stock 95 w/93 engine ran 6.3 ,over and over, i tried it about 4 different times on separate occasions and always got the same.

i havent tried since installing 2002 gt trans or modding the airbox.

Hmmm...7.9 sounds a wee bit crazy. I beat a stock 5-spped srt-4 in mine when it was stock with my tires spinning. and im pretty sure there a little faster than 8 seconds. my 999000 pound stock grand marquis was doing 8.3s consistantly.

The day it takes me 7.9 seconds to get to 60 miles per hour in a Mark VIII is the day I, for whatever reason, decided to drop in a V6 instead. I think my 88 VW Fox got to 60 is less than 8 seconds....

7.9 zero to sixty? Then how come in one of the commercials for the Mark VIII, it is running neck and neck w/ a fighter jet? LOL

Bone stock except the mufflers were cut off, no chip, no tune up, 153000 miles. took it when I first got my Mark

Stock Mark VIIIs are pretty slow of the line because they don't have enough gear from factory and no low end torque .Base model should come with 3.55 rear end and LSC with 3.73 rear end from a factory.5 -speed super coupes were pretty quick of the line but they had a lot low end torque. My brother used to own 5-speed 95SC and with stock gear and couple boltons he pulled 5.3 on G-tech and he also pulled 3.2 according to G-tech in his 98 mark VIII with Vortech 2 years ago. He's getting a new stall TC in couple weeks,so I guess we'll see what's gonna be his new 0-60.I wouldn't be surprise if gets into 2 sec range on slicks.

maybe they turned the overdrive and traction control off, how risky of them.
