starter saying engaged in start/run also intermitent engagement

Those ignition switches are a really common problem with 84-89 Mark VIIs. They just disintegrate over time. IIRC they were recalled due to fires. I replaced mine as a maintenance item just because they're so cheap. If you have security torx bits then it's simple to replace.

    Whats Your Coolest Car Poster?

It's not a poster, but this is my 1 of 900 etched marble print. My dad bought this in Chicago at a place called World Art in 1992, and he gave it to me as a Christmas present a few years ago. I haven't been able to find anything else about it, and I've never seen another one like it anywhere. He...

There's something about Cookeville and Mark VIIs, even though you hardly ever see any. Btw I looked at that white one, and it is really rough. It's been a while now, but he was wanting 1200.00 for it. And Vic the Mark is badass, I'm glad you finally got it going. How's the...

    Weird Wipers

Try taking the grey connector off and cleaning the contacts. That was the problem I had with mine. Make sure to put some dielectric grease in the connector too. If that doesn't help then it's likely to be your wiper motor or the governor up in the dash.
