Third time is a charm! Just got the car back last night. It looks great! Of course it snowed today so now it's all dirty again...

I thought that too but the shop says it's definitely the hood. They can place it on a flat surface and see that it is tweaked. It's being replaced because I rear-ended a flat bed on a snowy day earlier this month. His tube-steel bumper hit mostly my grill which buckled the hood. Agreed!

And the saga continues... Hood #2 was also twisted. Not as bad as the first one. At least they realized it before painting. Waiting for hood #3... I want my LS back!!

Brand new hood from Ford. Anyone see anything wrong here?? Body shop didn't notice it until it was painted and they went to assemble. Apparently they hang the hood to paint both sides so it was never laid flat before that. Obviously they are getting another from Ford under warranty but...

I have been pondering getting the Xcal3 for quite some time but haven't had the funds (and permission from the boss) to do so. So I'm looking for other advantages to having it. I know the Xcal can read DTC's on other vehicles. My question is can it read all the "Ford Enhanced" data as well...

Not a bad price. 352 is the smallest of the FE engines but good for cruising. Some bolt-on performance parts available (although they are a bit pricey). Be sure to check for frame for rust. Biggest problem area is just in front of the rear wheels. Also pull up the carpet if possible and...

For the Gen2's it was my understanding that the HID vs non-HID reflectors were exactly the same. If that was true then I wouldn't expect a HID retro into a non-HID housing to be any different than OEM...

The FRD03-AUX/S is the correct adapter for my '06 with the non-NAV 6-disc head unit. Works great. The only issue I ever have is sometimes it won't recognize the adapter when I press the SAT button (message says "Service Sat"). A simple turning off and turning on of the radio fixes it every time.

+2 '06 fogs are definitely H11. About to do a DDM HID install on mine (hopefully this weekend). If you do order them from DDM, know that there is no 'connector' for the power side of the ballast (the side that is supposed to plug into your existing H11 bulb harness). They are just spade...

The HID bulbs in the kit will mount just fine in the existing bulb location. My post was questioning where to mount the ballast and possibly avoiding drilling holes in the Gen2 housing or weather-tight covers to run the wires.
