This problem is happening to me right now. I got a new battery, rebuilt alternator and still die on me. Takes a jump no prob. Everyhting reads right... What else could it be?

Thanks for the help! Took me awhile to reply. Problem is solved. Took it all apart then back together. And it works. Fine. I ran into another stupid problem along the way. that'll be another posting.

Yah I tried. It slides into park, but when its in park, it doesnt release to lock into park.

Ive taken all the center console trim off... Do i still need to remove the cover that has the PRDN12 on it. There are 3 bolts that need to be removed to do this. I will be doing that later today. What am i looking for when and if that is removed... I cant see anything thats broken or bent...

It locks in to all the gears but park. Im gonna get out there and start taking the console off. Any idea where theres a lil diagram of remove the console?

I can put the car in and out of park, but when i put it in park the ignition wont let me turn the key all the way back to get it out, and when u look down at the shift it says its in park. It is in park, car isn't rolling away or anything, but the shifter doesnt lock into the park spot.

Where do i start to remove the center console? How come u had to do this to ur car?

my car is low scrapped some snow and stuff. My shifter won't click into the park spot. When the shifter is in park i can switch gears without having my foot on the brake,

I came home today from a glorious day out Malden Park, doing a lil snowboarding and when i got home and pulld the car in the garage. As i went to take the keys out after (putting it in park) the keys wouldnt come out. After trying to figure out what was going on the gear shifter wasn't getting...

Today on my way home from work today , as i was accelerating the rpms would just drop just below 1 and i'd tap the gas, and it would go back up. Its about a 25 min drive.. It happend maybe 3 times. Want to get this fixed quickly. Thanks!

Nothing looks wrong with the switch. All the points of contact are clean.I dont really know what could be wrong in the switch. I dont know! uhgh!

How do I check the gear assembly?

I took the motor off and tested it, hooked it up to a battery. Both up and down are working. What else could it be... How do I check that the gears are all working and window is on track?

I found a window motor at the junkyard for 50 bucks. Im gonna pick it up. Just need the how-to on changing it.
