help from anyone who is lowered.

i have had my lincoln dropped for some time now and while i love the stance the bumpsteer is starting to irritate me. i wanted to know if anyone has tried to shim their tie rod ends or steering rack to compensate for this. the car rides great but every bump pulls me around. my car sits fairly...

Anyone see this Mark with THESE doors?!?!

yeah, as if we dont have enough things breaking on our marks now, could you imagine all of those pieces in motion. it would be a maintenance nightmare. not to mention if you were parked over something sharp like a rock, it looks like it would just open up into it. It looks cool as hell too.

    No clue!!!

something is touching metal so apparently arcing across the door to the hinge and body, apparently this is the path of least resistance. i would bet that a wire is touching the door somewhere inside. it could be at a certain point if the wire was cut short and is stretched to reach the actuator...

95 Mark VIII O/D Problems HELP

any luck with pulling the fuse.... maybe a part of the wires are broken that you overlooked. i would have to say that somewhere on that switch line there is a mess up in the wire. you might have an uncommon case but we need to rule out the switch and wiring first.

racing a Mark or a porsche?

porsches will cost alot of money to make them faster while your lincoln is starting to come around in the aftermarket world. you can forge the bottom end of your 4.6 very easily then put on a vortech supercharger and be very content with dragging. the ranger with a 302 is a good idea if it...

    Expert Help NEEDED!!!

you prob didnt screw them up, they all vary dont know why its just the way they were made. what i meant though was to take off the sensor, drill you a hole a little further up and install the mount, then put the tires on the ground or ramps and slowly let the car down on to the suspension then...

    Expert Help NEEDED!!!

it depends on the sensors, they are all different. your only other option is to try new sensors or disconnect the sensors and move the bracket up some more, then with weight on the suspension reconnect the sensor, you will just have to remember to disconnect it any time you want to jack up the car.
