Going to a single 3" cat, watch me !

Be sure to use Dynomax 2 1/2" mandrel bent tailpipe for a 94-96 Impala SS They are actually cheaper than Chev pipes which are barely 2 1/4"(and not mandrel bent). Sixlitre

what kind of systems do all of you have?

Glad you weren't hurt I just hate Chevies, period. They're like tampons, half the world has em', doesn't mean they (or I) have to like em'. Blaupunkt (spelling?) 6X9 three ways, Pioneer 3 ways in the doors. CD changer in the trunk (came with the 90'). What makes the sound systems sound...

Going to a single 3" cat, watch me !

I was under the Lincoln today with my pipe bending buddy. We finished a "Sixlitre catback" for the 5.0 litre 90' Town Car; Used a Dynomax Impala SS 2 1/2" mandrel bent tailpipe (@$32.00); The new Hooker Aerochamber muffler, like BRBuzz151 found outperforms...

Going to a single 3" cat, watch me !

Picked up the Hooker Areochamber muffler today; Supposed to "kill" ALL Flowmasters on flow rates, yet it won't drone at cruise, like so many Chev trucks do; Gonna use the this little set up to hang it from the stock Lincoln rubber isolater/hangers; No sense in reinventing...

Going to a single 3" cat, watch me !

Well I done did it (redneck grinning) I plunked down $40.00 CDN for this Dynomax mandrel bent 2 1/2" tailpipe; Even not counting the mandrel bends, the flow capacity increase is 56% over the stock 2" tailpipe; I need it to help evacuate my 3" Y-pipe and 3" cat; The...

    LTC vs. Echo

Excellent ! I've gotta send this link to my middle brother, he's got an Echo (actually so does Sis, but hers is a 5 door, not like his sedan). Car payments and higher insurance on new cars are not the only extra costs. Even new ones come off warantee and there's PLENTY that ain't covered...

    Stock Rear Speakers

Yep I found going to aftermarket speakers helped, even with the stock head unit and amp. Some people at other Lincoln forums said it would be a waste of time, but the Blaupunkt 3 way 6X9s and Pioneer 3 way 5X7s made a world of difference IMO. Sixlitre

    Plastic Intake

That's just a crying shame on an 8 year old, top of the line, flagship vehicle for a company (Ford). Be aware that Edelbrock now makes an aluminum intake for these engines. At around $700.00 it's almost an investment IMO. Plus you get more power and torque. Me, I'll stick with my 5.0...
