Rims for sale
You're right. I was a bit conservative on the rims. Just trying to break even. Nobody has to buy them if they don't want to; it's that simple. Thanks for the info. though.
Rims for sale.
You're right. I figure to break even. Each tire is a Goodyear LS worth $220.00 each and each rim is atleast $100.00. I just upgraded to 2006 LS rims.
I have 4 17" Five Star Rims along w/ a set of Goodyear LS Performance tires for sale for $1,200.00 Plus shipping and handling. They are in excellent shape. Two tires are two days old and the others are abour 6 months old. I am putting the new 2006 rims on my LS along with new tires. Let me know...
Overheating
I had the exact problem about a month ago. Problem was the thermostat. Depending if the check engine light turned, you'll need to go to the dealership or if you know someone to reset the light. Actually, I thought it was the hydraulic motor for the fan.
fender for ls
Go to ebaymotors.com and type in Lincoln LS. Type in Lincoln LS and Parts and Accessories. Scroll down several pages. There's an LS that the owner is parting out.
Texas LS
Oops! They are the 17" five star flat silver rims. I bought these to fix a vibration problem the car had, but they were not the problem. They are in excellent shape. My zip code is 78572 if you want to know how much shipping will be to your location.
Grille Replacement
Do you know if the 2005 Lincoln LS chrome grille will fit on a 2000 Lincoln LS? How about the license plate holder. I'd like to get it painted so it can have the upgraded 2005 look. Please advise.
Overheat issue
When I had the coolant on my car replaced, the mechanic told me that there was another breather valve that also had to be opened so all the fluid could drain and release pressure. He said that if this wasn't done car would overheat. It's a plastic nut that's under the V8 cover.
