2006 Lincoln LS V8 110k miles Going to do valve cover gaskets soon. RockAuto has the following brands: Fel-Pro, Apex, Victor Reinz, and Mahle. Any brand recommendations on which make good gaskets? Also any tips from anyone that has done valve cover gaskets on the LS would be appreciated. Thanks

06 LS v8. trying to replace the rear brakes but i can’t fit the pads onto the caliper bracket. the clips are in the way. there are supposed to be clips on the rear brakes right? when i took it apart there were no clips.

alternator is charging 14.5 volts, every connection is tight. i was doing a quick look at the engine bay and found that the hose clamp around the throttle body was super lose. that’s the only visual thing i can see right now.

everywhere else i’ve looked says that the defrost actuator is on the drivers side behind the instrument cluster. are you sure it’s on the passenger side? on the gen 2?
