Update...Been working fine ever since the battery was completely drained and charger put on it for 30 min. I did nothing to fix the issuse. It will probably rear its head again, hopefully in the warmer months, and i will fix it then. Until then fingers crossed.

Radio is stock. Now i cant get the radio/clock to turn off, unless i put it in reverse or drive with the engine on.

Ran a search, found one thread that was a dead end. Read it could be the neutral safety switch or the trans range sensor. Does and 02 auto have both? Car shifts fine. All the gears read fine on the dash. It started yesterday, this morning battery was dead. Any thoughts? Thanks, Ty

This happened to me also. It turned out to be the plastic cover under the dash. There is a very narrow gap were the petal arm can make contact with the cover. I must have kicked it or something. Moved it back and was good to go. Hopefully your fix will be as simple as mine was.

Thanks for the info Big, I read up on the housing install. I got the back bolt with a regular 5/16 wrench. Wasn't easy but i managed. Oh, and the Jag housing comes with both gaskets. No need to buy a thermostat gasket if you do the upgrade.

Big day planned. Jag tower with motorcraft thermostat, clockspring, cabin filter, ngk plugs, and oil change. Rear wheel bearing later this week.
