You do realize the new 5.0 is rated@ 412hp right? And I'm also sure that in the '60s the majority of the muscle car body style were sold with an inline 6 cylinder.
The '69 Fastback is easily one of my favorite cars, but the new stangs out perform the original stangs in every category.

A luxurious four door version of the the new GT would be a hit. Especially if they actually took the time to make it look good, instead of these hideous looking things they have been producing. I mean who gave the approval for those freaking grills and tail lights?????
Indeed a funny thread, but I don't think he is getting flamed for leaving the LS. He is getting flamed for his better than you tone he used in his OP. And beings that going from a Lincoln to a Camry is far from an upgrade it just adds that much more fuel for the flame.
