Got it. I removed the 2 - 8mm bolts that hold the latch assembly to the body by using a looooonngg extension through the grill. Once those bolts were out I was able to reach underneath the car, behind the grill and manually release the secondary lock. The hood came up with the latch...
I'm new here so I apologize if I am posting in the wrong section. I closed the hood on my 95 LSC just now and it is not releasing with the handle on the inside. What is the best way to get the hood open?

It will be rarely driven on the street . I purchased it to do a little drag racing mainly grudge racing type stuff here in Detroit. I want to keep it as stock looking as possible, with as much power as my pockets will allow. Thats why I was thinking big block although I'm not dead set on it yet...
