For anyone that was interested in the outcome,, it starts and runs fine. Ofcourse it shows the miliage of the other car but other then that all is good. I swaped the PCM, Cluster , and the ingnition so I could use the key with the correct chip in it. I guess I could have just changed the chips...

I was thinking the same thing, I know there are the time limits on programing but you would think as many as Im sure the dealerships have done they would know ahead of time.. May try to swap the parts I have this weekend just to see(know ) if it works ...Will post if it happens.

I was wondering the same thing, did not know what else had to be married. I may try it just to see cause now im wondering but will end up im sure paying the dealership the 150 they want to do it...well he says if they can get it done in an hour...lol

Here is the story, 2000 Lincoln ls v8 my pcm was fried do to a bare wire..my question is I have a 2001 ls V8 parts car can i swap out the pcm and cluster and ignition cylinder and use my 2001 key and will it work without having to pay a dealership to marry it all together? Thanks

Balkamp from napa I would bet, I had the same issue and never got it figured out, the good thing was that it was still under warenty but I had to send the the whole thing back for just a cap. I even ordered a cap made by balkamp but it only fits the OEM bottle too. If ya ever find one that works...

I have done 2 motor swaps in the LS, if ya live anywhere near KY I would do it for 1000 labor.

just had to replace the motor in the car, so now its all back together and running and I do not know how to bleed the hydrolic fan system to get it going. Anyone know the best way..... Also does anyone know for sure what way the gear goes on ( that is behind the plate that turns the fans) it...

he is the wiring for the cooling fan on a 2003 , I do see a fuel charge sensor tied in with the fans.

Does anyone know what color or kelvin non hid fog light is needed to match the stock (HID) headlights as close as possible? I was lookiing at the bulbs LSkoncepts have but not sure what to get.
