Easy fix simply have a Ford dealer power flush & refill your coolant system. Changing the radiator will hardly make a dent. You need to have the entire system flushed clean. Scott

Hello; Also check the ground strap to the fender. If that is loose or loses connection your motor will die. Be forewarned that bolt can be extremely hot to the touch. Same issue I had on a 1994 Grand Marquis. Scott

yesterday i ordered a new not rebuilt or remanufactured alternator. eventually i will get around to installing it. i will also change the clutch fan as it appears to be neraly dead. you can easily grab the fan with your hand as the engine is running.Scott ssmith440@hotmail.com

This code is almost (90%) always due to a bad gas cap. The seals around the cap harden or get mossy depending on where the car resides and the cap simply fails to seal letting the PCM throw the cat(s) in either bank 1 or 2 or both - insufficiency code. yes you can remove it and the roof would look like any other mark v with out a vinyl roof. as for holes, unless there has been water leaking under the vinyl you should have no holes. about all you should find is whole bunch of 30+ year old dried up glue and foam to get rid of. if you find rust...
