I had an '05 Grand Marquis and now I have a 2006 Town Car. They both have 'a modulated torque converter lock up' meaning they lock gradually. I also have a 1996 that is not at all modulated as it feels herky jerky upon lock/unlock sorta like an older early lock up style mopar. Does a 1996 Town Car 4R70W also have a modulated lock up? I assume so and need to replace the torque convertor. Any ideas. Thanks Scott
