Hillary: Kill the brown babies or you get no aid

Well I happen to disagree, it is a matter of freedom vs. life. I think you've simplified my argument too much by framing it as a "my body" issue. At what point does the second life involved stop competing against the wishes or convenience of another person, in this case the parents? When...

Hillary: Kill the brown babies or you get no aid

I'm pro-life. I believe in personal responsibility. When we make a choice to have sex, we know that there is always a chance a life will be created, for this reason I also believe in sex education, but that's a whole other topic. I also understand that there are cases where consent was...

Conservatives more likely to read opposing viewpoints than liberals?!

You haven't been paying attention. Shag does not know how to identify the fallacies properly. I tried to present enough details so that even you could understand. Alas, I have failed. Well, I refuse to dumb it down more. Go my child, go be blissful in your ignorance.

Conservatives more likely to read opposing viewpoints than liberals?!

Backpedal, backpedal, backpedal. Defend? When? Where? You tried to dispel my critiques of the article, never defend its claims. I gave you the definition of burden of proof go read it. It's not up to us to prove the claims. More personal attacks keep it up Mr. "I take care not to...

Conservatives more likely to read opposing viewpoints than liberals?!

Thanks for clarifying your intentions, looks like Shag and I misinterpreted them, or as Shag would say "mischaracterized, distorted" your intentions. Shag bullying people around with his fallacies gets old, especially when he is often guilty of doing the same. He always says he's in search...

Conservatives more likely to read opposing viewpoints than liberals?!

Denial, denial, denial. If you believe it, it is so. You seriously want to criticize my lack of punctuation? C'mon, and yes I saw the smiley face. So you admit to being facetious, or should I say, FACETIOUS!!! In other words, you were appealing to ridicule, another fallacy. Then you...

Conservatives more likely to read opposing viewpoints than liberals?!

Throwing them all against the wall? That's a bit of a stretch. Don't worry though, I provided more details so that even you can understand them. Though you might give me the dreaded 'tl;dnr'.

Conservatives more likely to read opposing viewpoints than liberals?!

Let's break it down, Marcus never asserted that Limbaugh didn't graduate fourth grade, nor did he say this diatribe was written by a 4th grader. So you've successfully disproven something that isn't there... can we say strawman. Furthermore the mere fact that Limbaugh is a lawyer and therefore...

Conservatives more likely to read opposing viewpoints than liberals?!

I'm gonna regret getting into the middle of this, as it will never end but... He doesn't have to. You've committed two fallacies in your defense of this article. 1. Appeal to authority - He is a lawyer..... so what, does that make him an expert socialogist? 2. Burden of proof - your...

    Battery dying

I'll definitely try that. I drove the car yesterday and today, and haven't had any problems. I parked the car and measured the battery, with the doors open lights on blower on high the voltage at the battery was 12.8. with the doors closed, blower off it measured 13.3. I think that's about...

    Over-heated LS ?

I've had the cracked coolant reservoir and most recently a bad fan. The car would overheat at low speeds, was fine on the highway. The fan was not spinning on high when at idle or at low speeds, so not enough air movement. replaced fan and its all fine again.

    Battery dying

Well the problem is that when the car is working, like it is now, the alternator and battery read out fine. Nothing wrong, voltages are good. The problem is intermittent. It could still very well be an alternator issue, I'm starting to get concerned that its an ECU issue. I'm not sure, but...

    Battery dying

yeah, i guess yall are right. i just wanted to make there wasn't anything that could be missed. The shop doesn't want to do any work that isn't necessary, and since they can't get the car to fail anymore... hasn't failed since friday it starts up and runs without a problem, I'm probably just...

    Battery dying

That's what the shop thinks, but how is it that after the battery appears to drain and won't crank after an episode, if I wait a few hours it will crank again? Do batteries behave this way? Thanks for the help.
