if you going matte. its still a 2 stage.
face clear for example is 2 stage. your base which dries matte, and the clear which gives the gloss but more importantly the protection from scraches and uv.
to do a matte finish you cant just spray the base and leave it becaues it wont last. you have to...
I value the comments.like I said I wanted to here form both sides.
the car isnt going on the road any way this year but you guys have given me alot to think about.
thanks I'll let you know what I decide.
can you elaborat for me why your so against it?
dont want a pissing match just getting from both sides, to make my decision.
the way I see it. the 5.4 with the DOHC heads is basically the 4.6 with the SHM big boar stroker kit. plus a few extra pounds and a little more displacement.
yes it...
hey all oppinions are are appreciated.
I do know that i would require a timing cover from a lincoln 5.4. and the chain guide's. setting the timing would be required weather I put in a 5.4 or had my 4.6 rebuilt. so that dosnt really make a difference
I have seen a DOHC 5.4 Tbird. it was tight...
all good points. I appretiate the input its what helps alot.
I was considering the SHM kit but at 2395 thats alot of coin. I can get the 5.4 for under 800 bucks. brand new in the crate, according to a guys over on another forum my DOHC heads bolt directly on the SOHC 5.4 Block. all thats needed...
hells yeah. that would be like sex on four wheels.
just herd back from the guy and the engine is a 2 valve 5.4L
still a good price but that takes away from the cool factor quite a bit IMO
thanks for the links. I'm still waiting to find out if its a older SOHC or a DOHC or a newer 3 valve.
if its the SOHC then all probably forget about it. but A 4 or 3 valve would be sweet. would take some work but just might take a year of with the car to get it done correctly. will keep posted
I've been told that with a modified 4.6 intake it will fit under a stock or smaller cowl hood.
that was in a Tbird. I've seend a couple of pics of the swap done some look really good. others are a real hack job
got a 94 mark
in need of a new or rebuilt motor.
still holding together but with 240 000kms
and spraying a hundred shot every weekend in teh summer its only a matter of time before something goes POP.:D
I have a chance to get a brand new triton 5.4 long block for really cheap.
what can...
it sucks being away from them
your bulls are good looking dogs. a guy i work with has a lab Bull cross and she is a doll. such a sweet dog.
Trigger was the only one in his littler with the Brindel and white coloring. all the others were either the husky black and white or the lab blonde...
this is my guy.
his name is Trigger and he is a Lab Husky cross.
these where taken when he was about 8 months old. he is now a year and 3 months and 100 lbs of slobery hyper love
noice burn out.
that an EX cop car. mine is. painted it pearl white, and threw in the leather from a grand marquis. and a track lock. absolutly love it. one of the best cars I have ever owned.
because the ecu moniters the fluid temp and if it gets too hot will throw a CEL.
thats the way my Crown vic works. I do have a temp sensor on it but thats because I pull trailers with it.
as for the mark 8 if the guys is doing any time at the track switching to a deep sump pan will give him...
IMO you money would be better spent on a deep sump pan.
i did one when I did my Jmod and have not had any issues as of yet. with the factory cooler, even on hot days at the track.
