thanks for the links. I'm still waiting to find out if its a older SOHC or a DOHC or a newer 3 valve. if its the SOHC then all probably forget about it. but A 4 or 3 valve would be sweet. would take some work but just might take a year of with the car to get it done correctly. will keep posted

not shue exaclly as I dont have an aftermarket sensor but i have no heat problems while hot lapping on hot days.

IMO you money would be better spent on a deep sump pan. i did one when I did my Jmod and have not had any issues as of yet. with the factory cooler, even on hot days at the track.
