Hey Greg- Let me know if you want some help with it... I have a couple caps in the parts bin... If it needs more work, I'm already primed to do an engine pull in the wife's '00 explorer- (no compression on #2 and low on #3, 5.0 GT40P motor) so what's another engine swap, right?
Sometimes I...
Hey, Greg! Great to see you're back! I know personally how tough health issues can be! If you need help with anything, give me a shout- I'm getting to be a pro on these gen 1's, and I'm getting quite the mountain of parts to keep all 3 alive, lol
Took the 94 on a Saturday afternoon road trip to Lawrence to eat at my fav restaurant over there (Quinton's). Heading out of town on K10 I saw a sign for Car Show and Dyno day, and lo and behold it was LSXKilr shop. Pulled up outside, and there it was - ONEBADMARK's black 96 sitting out front...

Went and looked at this car. It needs work. It's a rust free straight car (minus the front fender) that will probably end up a parts vehicle. He said he had turned down 750, but it sounded like he'd take 800. I drove it, and it shifts good...
Not sure what year yours is, but my daughter's 93 had this happen. It ended up being a small water leak around the fresh air inlet under the windshield, and it dripped down onto the alarm module under the glove box and that thing went nuts one day. I pulled battery cables, etc. etc. and I...
Oh he got one. I spy.
And mike in a gen1?? Something about hell and freezing over. That's what he said.
In fact I think he said he'd rather push a Chevy than drive a gen 1. Lol.
Yeah, I'm keenly aware of this fact. I'm looking for some G2's for him... Hard for me to do...
Would it be impolite to call them the "Bug Eye Mark"? ;)
Well, it WOULD be nice to see at night, but it's a price I'm willing to pay, lol.....
yeah- In fact I think I still have some parts for you.....
The "Company I'm employed by" never has gotten me back to work, so I'm putting all my energy into my IT company. Apologies for LONG delays in getting parts out. All my energy is being spent on my future. In fact, my 94 has been...
Someone may have changed the rack and got the wrong one. Local parts house gave me the wrong one, probably for a t-bird, for my Wife's 95. Stiff after changing. Told the wife to live with it because changing that rack is a B***H!
Saw a solid 94 mark with a very nice dark blue interior. Needs some cleaning but the seats have no tears, door panels in great shape etc etc.. Only thing missing is the console door-
Let me know if anyone needs anything - I can go pull for you....
OK, so in response to these statements:
Here's the deal.. Recreating these lights is expensive, and, unless you're an autocad auto designer, probably illegal if all you are doing is copying the part by making new molds from an original Ford part. Engineering injection molds is expensive, and...
That's why I'm going the re-chroming route. Talked to the company today, he's interested, but wants to see a photo of a disassembled unit, which I have in my parts shed. I'm going to fire that off to him and he said he'd get back to me next week.
He did say he would want to do runs of 50 or...
