Thank you for the response and I did Google it before I asked LVC there advise. I was trusting LVC members instead of Google since LVC members have more knowledge and tips from hands on experience with problems. Anyway , thanks for your responses and remember today is Veterans Day and all of us...
Good evening one and all. I have a 2004 LS V8. I had the transmission rebuilt recently and now after about 350 miles I'm getting a P708 code. I have heard of a few things that it could be but I have had success with answers I have gotten from this site. If anyone has an idea of what it could be...
I will ask about the servo bores today. Not many transmission shops in my area. These guys have been around for decades and that's why I took it to them.
I have a 2004 LS V8 the transmission has been rebuilt twice now. The transmission shop says it is shifting to hard and breaking internal parts. They have suggested that the computer that controls the shifting has a problem. Even after both rebuilds it would shift like it had a old fashion shift...

Oh man Thank you. That's the best one I have seen yet. I've been searching all week rebuild vs new and this company looks like the best one and it's even the best price as well. Thank you once again for the link
I'm getting code p0340 after replacing VC gaskets. I have read in post that the sensors on top of the VC is for the VVT. If so where is the camshaft position sensor located? Those sensors on top of the VC is the only sensors I can see anywhere near the camshaft's. Thanks for any help and I pray...
