In my 10yrs of ownership Ive never had a coil not under the plenum fail in service, while clyndr 1,2,3 have been on ongoing issue even while using motorcraft. Seems impossible to get 50k miles between failures.

I think the coils under the plenum fail more often than the v8's due to heat. 3hr labor and no sense just changing 1.

Not much plastic on the gen 2 3.0L. Changed all hoses,degas and dccv within the last year. Could be time for the radiator

I am pressing off, defrost, releasing both buttons then pressing auto. Just tried again, N.G. I will try bleeding and seee if there is any change. Thanks for your help.

Hi Joe. I changed all hoses and degas on the V6 last year. No symptom other than the heat issue. Do you have any idea why test wont run? Ive read of others not getting it to work. Would a pressure test help.

I am having the same symptoms of a failed aux coolant pump, no heat at idle works when running. Tried running DATC test with car runing- Off,DEF then Auto but test does not run. Any thoughts on where to look next? T.I.A.

Water gets in where shaft for drivers side wiper penetrates cowl. Is cowl tight against windshield(rubber gasket)? Are all of the plastic fastners in place. Good Luck

Buy a Carter pump from Rock Auto for 240 and bring to mech. No need to go to the dealer. Good Luck

To remove the carpet completly you would need to remove the seats and center console. You can pull up the front carpet enough to get soundproofing on the floor from the front of the seat up to firewall. Doing the doors and the wheel well liners helps as well. I know what you mean by the harsh...

I had that noise and after changing degass, hoses and cap it went away. Is yours original. It might be time. Good Luck

The windshield cowl leak after time. Water can get into coils. Are all the plastic rivets for the cowl installed? It also leaks through the holes for the windshield wiper arms. Maybe something in the engine compartment got wet. Good Luck

I am trying to remove the right hand mounting screws for pass side visor Gen 2. I read that the cover can be pryed off with a small flat tip screwdriver. Im having no luck. Whats the secret to removing this cover? T.I.A
