Thank you! I’ve had the MAF sensor out and cleaned it in the past, car acts like it needs a choke to get going when it’s freezing temp, I tend to forget about it rest of year, did it this morning though, temp 31 degrees, I’ll check all the symptoms of a bad MAF :)

Yes it's the exhaust manifold the dealers can't find( new ) it may just be the gasket but its a pretty big job I think to get to it that I'd like to have a manifold located so it won't sit at the dealers for weeks, same with local mechanic , if they tear it down even a used manifold might take...

Thank you, I have a truck that the ticking sound you refer to was fixed twice under warranty , both times it was manifold, this sounds different, not ticking but more like the end of the exhaust pipe sounds..it sounds from the top like its coming from the manifold area, I like your aviator!

Lol! I also own a 55 crown Vic and a 72 maverick grabber... Not sure if that helps or hurts my status here!! :D!
