How do I check which plugs are good or bad? I have heard some ppl say you have to check them with a load on them.

Cool thanks for the info. I am on the fence between a sealed or ported box right now because I am looking for the tightest bass possible but I do want it loud too. The sub should get about 400 rms with my amp, so a sealed box will still hit hard, I hope.
