I believe I used Felpro as well when I did my vcg, cops, & new plugs. ran w/o issues for almost 2 yrs. no complaints. ( had to trade it in for a 12 passat bc she needed TOO much work) :'(

not as worried about the airbags. more worried about the advancetrac issues as im not sure how it affects the vehicle.

Mine just came on last night as well. I was driving and the dash message showed up with the advance track light on the dash now. The brakes are fine, and the ABS light isnt on. NOT looking forward to trying to figure this out. I guess I'll take it to the parts store to see what the codes are...

I was surprised when I pulled out the plugs and saw them being NGK's. Especially after I called the dealer and asked about the OEM and they gave me the Motocraft number. So far though, about 1k on the Visteon COP's and no problems. ( Knock on wood )

Had to replace the computer in the drivers door. The alarm kept going off when my wife was driving it, or even just sitting in the driveway. I found a comp, and we replaced it, but I had to take it in to get flashed. After a couple hours they called and said it was ready. I showed up, picked it...

LOL! Darnit! I just did the VCG/COP/Plugs on my wife's car. I didn't hear that it was under dealer warranty until like 2 days after! :( Oh well.....

It shouldn't take more than a couple hours I'm assuming. You still need to take a lot of parts off to get to the coil covers. About as much as if doing the VCG. The driver's side is a PIA on the back part of the motor. The brake power booster? behind the master was in the way for like 2 or 3...

I just did the COP's/Plugs/VCG's yesterday and it wasn't TOO bad...... but I don't look forward to major work past this. My motor looked clean. I remember reading through here that someone mentioned Ford recommended full synthetic oil. It's all that's been used in mine. I'm at 87k right now...
