    OEM or aftermarket lug nuts?

Isn’t the wheel supposed to fall to one side depending on the offset? Every time I roll a wheel to a co worker it always leans to the side of the face of the rim. Anyways I think I’ll have them road forced and if that doesn’t work I’ll see if I can warranty them. I’m getting real sick of buying...

    OEM or aftermarket lug nuts?

They don’t feel cupped when I run my hand over them. They also only had 50 miles put on them, think that’s long enough to cause issues? We only have regular balancers at the shop so I’ll see if another location has a road force balancer

    OEM or aftermarket lug nuts?

So the Toyota lugs were definitely too long. I put in the dormants and the shake reduced dramatically but is still there. Anyone have any ideas? Tires are brand new Bridgestone Turanzas, wheels aren’t bent, they’re balanced properly, and the hubs are clean. The shake comes on lightly at 25-30...

    OEM or aftermarket lug nuts?

Can’t argue that logic. Plus it’s not like fords chrome sleeved lugs were super great in the first place

    OEM or aftermarket lug nuts?

Yeah I’ve used their wheel studs and lugs on customers vehicles at work and they seemed ok but I haven’t used them on my own vehicles so I guess I’ll have see how they hold up in the long run. Gonna order them today and I’ll update on how they perform along with their affect on my wheel shake issue.

    OEM or aftermarket lug nuts?

I have a 2005 V8 Ls and I’m looking to replace the lugnuts. I currently have aftermarket Toyota lugs and I believe that they’re what’s causing my wheels to shake. When I put new tires on yesterday I noticed the shank looked longer than the hole in the wheel so even though they torque down...

Question about throttle actuator control system

There was a couple typos yeah. The c1904 is actually c1094. The b1623 and b1625 are actually b1263 and b1265. Should I just keep driving it and see if anything else pops up?

Question about throttle actuator control system

I ended up checking the throttle position voltages on the scan tool at work and the voltages at no throttle, WOT, and the crossover inbetween were within spec. I then checked the throttle body to find it was gunked up. I cleaned it and cleared the codes but the same codes came back today. I...

Question about throttle actuator control system

I also performed the KOEO and KOER tests. The KOEO pulled a p0020 code and the KOER test just said system pass

Question about throttle actuator control system

My 05 v8 Ls went into failsafe mode at a dead stop and also said service parking brake. I restarted he car and it went out of failsafe mode so I drove it home to pull any possible codes (no MIL’s illuminated). When I read the codes I pulled four pending codes all related to the throttle actuator...

Question about trans filter replacement and c1277 code

Update on the situation. We went through the calibration procedure and afterwards it said calibration was not complete on the scan tool but the flashing light went away. I test drove it and the light came on for a few seconds and went away without restarting the car and has not come back. I...

Question about trans filter replacement and c1277 code

So after doing some research on Mitchell and talking to one of the mechanics at my job it seems that the c1277 code requires a calibration after being reset. We should be able to recalibrate it with the shops scan tool if we have some downtime tomorrow. Is there anything I should be aware of...
