    Second hand LS issues

Cleaning the MAF sensor works wonders. Be sure and use MAF sensor cleaner, not something else.

slight overheating w/ new cooling parts - what next?

It fits on the radiator opening. It’s called “Lisle spill free funnel”. It allows you to fill cooling system and burp it at same time. Sold at Amazon. BTW. I live in Oxnard.

slight overheating w/ new cooling parts - what next?

My experience with my 2005 V8 says its air in the cooling system. I know you said you bled it but.....using that little bleeding valve is tricky. Instead I bought one of those yellow buckets that sit on the radiator opening. With that installed I ran the engine for at least 30 minutes while I...

    Strange power loss

Yes, new COPS and plugs. On an LS they must be pristine.

    Best way to remove Carbon?

I add a can annually to my 2005 V8 LS. I buy it at Lowes. It's cheaper by a couple of bucks.

    MAF sensor

A dirty MAF sensor can cause many problems. In my 2005 V8 LS I kept getting engine safe mode errors relating to the throttle body. It had nothing to do with the throttle body, it was a dirty MAF sensor. I sprayed it good with MAF sensor cleaner and it cleared those error codes and the LS is fine.

    Saga of P2110 and P2107

I had 6 P codes all concerning throttle body. I replaced: entire throttle body. All coils. All spark plugs. Engine would STILL throw the same 6 codes and go into limp mode. The fix? CLEANING THE MAF sensor. I removed it by taking out the two screws. Placed a rag under it and sprayed it...

    Air Conditioning Recharge??

Just added refrigerant to my 2005 Gen2 V8. Turn wheel full left. On my car there is a plastic cover (drivers side) It has 2 different screws that need removing. It helps to jack the car some for this. Once you remove this plastic shield there is another rubbery shield in the way. There is...

None of the Buttons on Steering Wheel work

Not necessarily. I fixed a similar problem by removing the switch assembly, dousing with isopropyl, remounting and it was fixed. Lucky I guess.

Stereo volume on steering wheel - only +++

I had the same problem. I solved it by removing switch assembly from steering wheel, dousing it with isopropyl, letting it dry and remounting. Worked like a champ. No clockspring replacement necessary.

Steering Wheel Mounted Stereo Control Unit Problems (Solved!)

For the past couple of years, the stereo control unit mounted on the right side of Steering wheel, has been crazy. Trying to change the volume for instance, resulted in changing the station. Not good. After doing some research, I though for sure the clockspring was the problem. NOT! First...

    Help needed removing door panel

Just took off drivers side door panel on my 2005 LS Hello, once you remove the three screws on the bottom and the screw on the side and the 2 screws under the cover in the handle, just start pulling on the panel to release the 9 clips (of course use a tool to help with releasing tabs)...

    Trump

Trump for President. Why? Because it will be fun and shocking to see and hear what he thinks when he realizes that he is charge of something to grossly mismanaged and bloated that his head will explode. That's why.
