I haven't looked into this, but don't you have to make the car conform to Canadian standards? For example, daytime running lights are a requirement for Canada but not here in the US. This would need to be added to the car before it would pass inspection. What about duty? Something to check...

I agree with the above posts, but, you may want to try something easier first. What I had was not a starting issue, but an issue relating to fuel injectors in general. I noticed a problem on a long highway trip, where my car would not maintain an even speed while on cruise control,.... up...

Me too. Those nylon cable ties are super strong, yet if I ever want to replace the boot I can just snip them off and put new ones back on. (Plus I get to keep my $177.00).

For all the manual 5 speed owners. The shifter boot is held in place with 4 rather flimsy plastic clips that will break over time. One person here has had theirs replaced under warranty 4 times already. When I fixed mine, I could tell it had already been replaced when I found additional broken...

Not to throw salt in your wounds, but, mines black with a black interior. (Looks more charcoal grey than pure black though).

I also have a 2000 LS with a manual transmission. I have driven a stick for over 15 years and getting another one was a prerequisite when I bought the LS. I would not settle for an automatic so I located one in Texas, flew there and drove it back to Allentown PA. What a great ride!
