Issues worse than the TCs air ride?

I have owned a 97 TC for 4 years now. Recently I have been considering a 98-02 Continental but I just found a Mark VIII on craigslist this evening for $3250, only 73k miles, two owner, same family. I am wondering what the overall quality of these cars are compared to the TCs and the newer Conts...

I'm the same way lol, 21 and in a 97 TC, I want to get in a 98-02 or newer though.

Does it matter if you have the LS in D4 or D5 other than on the highway?

Thanks everyone, I'll get the V8 for sure. My 97 TC gets a steady 18.5 combined, was getting 19.5 last summer.

Thanks alot for the feedback guys. Was talking to a dealer guy today and he was saying after 2000 they fixed the problem. Kinda ripping out my entire year range, unless I can find an early early 2000 or 2001, but like you said Cadillack if it's 2002 I might have to skip out on Caddys again and...
