Looking for DEFECTIVE solenoid pack for transmission, will buy it from you!

Sounds pretty stupid huh.. Anyway, I need a solenoid pack, but I only need it for the temperature sensor (see pic). This is for a 5R55N transmission. My sensor is damaged beyond recognition, so I cant get any specs off it. Make sure yours has this:

Is it possible to remove OD servo without pulling tranny?

Update: I found a broken spring in one of the valves on the valve body. Anyone know what that valve controls? Or where to get a new spring? I managed to piece together the old one and find that all the pieces are there. the end of the piston is a little beat up but its not on the sliding...

Is it possible to remove OD servo without pulling tranny?

Looks like their isn't much room up there. I just lost 5th gear, rest of the gears shift fine. code P0775. I have removed the valve body and solenoid block, will probably replace at least the solenoid block (maybe both). While I have it apart I would like to have a look at the bore in the...

Brake pedal sluggish to depress - fresh brake fluid

ok, fresh brake fluid is in. I ended up making a device to suck the fluid through (see pics). Just happened to have a small vacuum pump, and put a tank inline to catch the fluid. I had to turn it into a one person job. Results: Pedal action is a little better. The sinking pedal is more...

Brake pedal sluggish to depress - fresh brake fluid

In a emergency type stop, when I go to hit the pedal, it slowly moves down through the travel until applying pressure. It acts as though it is damped, and their is kind of an air sound as its depressed (kinda like I am pushing in a tire pump). When it hits the master cylinder, the brakes...

    Brake Pad Question

Have the same problem, but my slide pins slide nicely. Drivers side is worn much more than passenger. If one side was braking harder than the other, it would pull under braking. Their has to be more to this. Pistons also move freely.

Will an '03 RH mirror fit an '01?

Thanks for that, it looks like it will at least bolt up. Do you think it would be noticeable if I had the '03+ on the right side and the '01 on the left side? They would both be non-folding.

Ford says CEO will work for $1 to get loans

So the "long time" chevy lover changed his mind because a $30 resistor module went out for the blower, and the cd player malfunctioned, and a tire (which isn't made by GM, and could have failed for any number of reasons) blows out. Now that is loyalty to a company! Cry me a river.

    Added insurance to COP boot

I've got a couple plug holes that are slowly collecting oil. I don't have the time or money at the moment to do the gaskets. I also don't have the updated coil boots. I've made it regular maintenance to clean out the wells once in a while, but this time I came up with a little added...

    Help, LS8 left us stranded

you've got to be kidding me. I took the MAF sensor off and there was a little bug on the wire, a little blast of air to clean it off, put it back together and it runs great! That bug cost me $150 in towing! For one thing, how did a bug get in there, for another thing, what are the chances it...

    Help, LS8 left us stranded

Ok, so it didn't throw any codes. But I tried a couple things. I disconnected the big hose to the IAC, it started and ran smoother for a couple seconds, but shut off suddenly (assuming because no air was moving through the snorkel). Next I tried unplugging the MAF. It will run like this, it...
