    Premium Factory to Single DIN

I just ended up ordering a kit of resistors that contains 1675 pieces, 25 of each value from 1-10m ohm 1/4 watt. I'll try to reuse it but I'll have the one I need if I end up needing one. Also how difficult is it to remove the 6 disc changer assembly from the glove box since mine won't be...

Was not aware of that but the blue amp wire you mentioned and that orange one had little caps on the end of the JVC harness, I'll see if I can figure it out. I want to put a red LED in the ash tray since I just replaced all the interior bulbs with red a few weeks back. It looks like there's a...

Also as I was removing everything to remove the factory unit I noticed the LED in my ashtray does not work anymore, I had no clue there was even a light in there. Do you know where I could find parts to rebuild the ashtray light while I have this all apart?

Thanks for the info. The harness that came with the JVC unit pictured above had a label on the blue wire denoting that it was the amp wire, feel like I've got a pretty solid idea of what to do now.

So something like this as well as the resistor? Where exactly should the resistor be wired in with this harness? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000YR6C2E/ref=ya_st_dp_summary

About to start splicing the new harness in but just want to make sure I'll be doing this correctly. What's got me questioning the install is the two plugs on the right, will I be able to just splice the new harness into the corresponding wires on the recantular harness and leave the...

    Paint Booster Upgrades?

http://cqfinest.com Not worth it unless you have the paint professionally corrected or apply to a fresh paint job IMO but ceramic coating is about as good as it gets when it comes to shine and protection.

Got a new line put in today. Turns out it was just the line running from the T fitting back to the IAC valve. Must have damaged it when I pulled the valve for cleaning and installed a new gasket. Just cut the end of so I could use the fitting for the IAC valve, put some gasket maker on...

    Part Number Confirmation

You da man. I should have just replaced it when I did my thermostat housing upgrade back in December last year and had it all apart but you live and learn I guess... Now that I'm familiar with tearing it apart it should only take like 20-30 mins + fill/bleed time. Within the last year and a...

    Part Number Confirmation

Hello, I've been having trouble with what I believe to be the engine coolant outlet tube on my 1st gen V8. (Part number XW4Z-8A520-AE). http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/PartDetail.aspx?n=PUtl2skZX81GgA%2fPu5RcOA%3d%3d&id=303921827&m=2&search=true&year=2002&make=Lincoln&model=LS...

    front and rear bushings

If you think anything on the LS is going to be easy to do, think again. However, the sway bar links would be a good place to start.

    Yet another tire opinion thread

I recently got a new set of Hankook Optimo H725s and I'm very happy with them. Ride is comfortable, the grip is amazing and they have an 80,000 mile warranty. The fact that they're V rated is nice too.

    2000 LS water pump failure

Mine dumped all the coolant when it failed. It then happened again a year later and was fixed under warranty.

    2005 Llincoln LS V8 Suspension

If you're going for a full rebuild the linkage is pretty easy to do yourself. (Toe links/tie rod ends and sway bar links)

What did you do to your LS today?

Replaced this piece of junk. Just cooling off for a bit before I go refill/bleed.
