just a fyi, i fixed the issue that sounds just like yours. i would double check that the white with purple wire has power if not, the that is the problem. Trace it back and check why. Good luck

The previous owner said he just changed the fuel pump. I saw on another thread here that someone else was having the same exact issue. I asked if he ever got it resolved, i do like these cars and am very excited to get i t on the road.

Ok i just bought me a new mark today. It is a 1996 and runs great, but i have this weird thing going on. First my air ride compressor is not kicking on and the car is slammed, so that is the first. Ihave checked all fuses and everything is good. Is there a way to bypass and fill the bags...

ok i guess i will run some seafoam tommorrow through the oil. i already did the intake and the fuel, but i did notice some crude inside the valve cover and was thinking of doing that. Thanks all for the advice. i will start with flushing the oil.

i thought the full syn would make all my gaskets leak?? so just conv. i used.

whats some good oil?? i have been using penz 5-30 and that is abou the time it happened. I changed it and BAM, this problem...

i have noticed it hesitates and will not rev over 4k?? I just thought it was something with a tune up.

Sorry all, my mark is a 1994 with 181k on the motor. i dont have a way to post a video but i will try and see what i can do. the sound isnt really there just idling but when you rev it up to 2k or more you gets louder. i know the valve cover is a pain but do you have to remove the brake...

So i think i am needing to just either rebuild the motor i have or swap a rebuilt motor into it. I dont have alot of money right now, but would like to find a good rebuilt motor to drop in. I saw laser when he did his and how long did it take for the swap?? Anyone know of any good places to...
