Gen 1 LS Center Caps and Headlight

I have a few left over parts from my 2002 LSE that have been sitting in my garage since I sold the car over a year ago. Just found them while cleaning, so I wanted to offer them to the LVC community first. First is a passenger side headlight that was in perfect working condition when it came...

    Saggy Door Handle

Just a stupid little issue that I have a question on. I have an '02 V8 LSE, and for whatever reason the driver's side exterior door handle seems to sag, or not fully return to the closed position without my pushing it in/back. Anyone know of how to adjust this, or what may cause this problem...

    The Final Ball Joint Thread

Given other recent posts, I realized I neglected above to mention the sizing of the ball joint. It is my understanding that late in the 2002 production run, the size of the ball joint was changed from the earlier style (and most common to fail) 14mm joint to a larger 16mm joint. I am unsure of...

    The Final Ball Joint Thread

There seems to have been a huge amount of people posting requests for information regarding the lower ball joints in the First Generation LS. Given this, and my recent experience with this process, I figured I'd post all the inforamation I was able to gather about the subject in one spot for...

Confused on how to hook up HIDs..

The other option on Gen 1s aside from the above mentioned fuse box tap, is to utilize the power source coming into the fuse box on the right hand side of the box. It is a small bolt on that side that is a direct source from the battery, this worked perfect for my kit.

    bike #3, new love!

Yes, definitely comfortable in stock or slightly modified form. Love the torque, everything is so very easy to do on the busa. Anyway, trillkb, enjoy the new bike, sounds like you've definitely got the right perspective on riding to keep yourself safe and have fun!

    bike #3, new love!

Good to know another busa owner, they are all I ride. Wasn't diminishing the 750, they are awesome bikes, and for what they are, exceptionally fast. Sold one to a customer with a few mods just last summer. Very well balanced bike, and especially for the money one of the best sport bikes out...

    55W HID Install Help Needed

pektel, thanks for the referral to skizot, got these all wired in as per both of your suggestions, and they work perfect! Just for anyone else's information, the best way to tap power is the 10mm bolt coming from the side of the under hood relay/fuse panel. Simply pull that bolt, place your...

    55W HID Install Help Needed

Where I'm confused is that the relay harness that I was told to purchase includes a relay in line with the power source to the kit, as well as an inline 30 amp fuse. The ends plug directly into the ballasts, and at the opposite end are a pair of positive and negative eyelets. Thanks for the...

    55W HID Install Help Needed

Ok, so simply tap power with the relay harness from one of the empty spaces in the fuse panel? Electronics I am woefully inadequate in, so having said this, the unused relay space will have a section for me to run the positive wire and ground from the relay harness? Thank You.

    55W HID Install Help Needed

Ok, I've searched for the last half hour and have not found useful information with regards to installing 55w HIDs. I have a kit in hand, with the appropriate relay wiring harness to keep the kit from flashing on and off. The only question that I have now is how others have installed this...

Got my A$$ handed to me.... :(

Figured I'd spout off at the mouth a moment and add my opinion to this thread. First and foremost, as many have said, this is not a pure performance car. It's a luxury sport tourer, with the luxury before the sport. This car has exceptional balance, decent brakes, and a tractible and...
