On my 98 Conti the drivers-side rear door is not able to be opened. The problem started that the door latch wouldn't hold the door closed. I got it to stay semi closed with the door "locked". Then I had to bounce on it to get to open and I sprayed the latch with some silicone and the door closed...

ultimate car I had a 97 conti but when i spied the 98 i traded in right away. Theres nothing like being on the highway running at 75mph and lay into it at the bottom of a high rise ahead. These things breath TORQUE and comfort (heated seats). My 98 has 87k and just tires, wiper blades, filters...

and mike I just thought. did you check your remote to make sure that its in the "on"" position?

If it were me I'd run it over to a lincoln dealership, if its important to you.

My 98 has a little "air dam" (black plastic) and its attached with plastic "push in" screws.

call Tire Rack's 800 # and ask them, they have all the specs.

snow tires Hi! From my personal experience (10 years with my 98 Conti), 4 snow tires will put you in the league of all-wheel and 4 wheel drive cars. Tirerack.com (the best source of any tire fitament questions) put me into these tires (see pix).
