On my '90 TC the digital speedo reads 62 mph when I'm running around 67 mph. Followed my son's T-bird and I timed it thru a few MPMs at 55 seconds to a mile. It has the correct size tires via what it says on the side walls. I know different manufactures are a little different in tire height. Is...
It depends....what is your mechanical ability and how tight is your budget? I just got my '90 TC with 141K on it. I know what to expect from a 302 and AOD at that age, so I know what to be prepared for. Also I was able to have them put it on a hoist and I looked around under it. What I found was...
May need to change my name.
Well drove 175 miles in the rain to look at the 1990 TC. Except for very minor cosmetic items like one small piece of moulding gone, a couple of small paint chips and the rear tires needing changing before winter, I bought her. What a sweetie. Everything works...
Well I decided against the Vic even though it was the son's car. Besides rebuilding the trans would have had to do a torque converter. I like the '90 because it is the 302. Has air ride only on the rear as apposed to a '96 Conti I'm looking at with air on all four corners. One thing I dislike...
I will go to look at a 1990 Towncar 141,000 miles on it. Owned by a little old man(factual). They wanted $2450 I offered $1900. I will give it a major looking over. It is mostly the base model with a cloth interior. I'm going to look at it Sat. so any input is appreciated. Oh and it is either...

I have read up on this and it looks promising. I just bought some acetone and will be trying it in a '90 T-bird 3.8L and my '89 F250 HD 4X4 351 when I get over my broken ankle. I will see what I can find out with the bird this coming up week. It may be a...
Anyone know what is legal or not? I've been looking but haven't found anything so far. I see packages that say 100 watts is legal for offroad use only. In SD codified laws all I found is you can't subject someone to headlight glare. I've read of people putting in 80\85 watt replacements and some...
I'm interested also on which stock replacement bulbs are good for more output. I want to upgrade my F250 and I looked at Silverstars, Xenon Quartz, Night Hawks, and Cool Blues from what I saw on Silverstar's site they were supposed to have the best output. But now I wonder. I don't want to go to...
My son owns a 1968 Torino Formal Roof two door. 302 auto. I nabbed the line before he could. 'sides if he ever gets on I'm pushing for him to use a nickname given to him for obvious reasons. NillaGorilla
We'll see!
If the lens' are just dingy or yellowed, these can be buffed out with plastic polish and a buffer wheel for a drill. Did it for my son's '90 T-bird, worked great. If they are burnt that sucks, I'm guessing you mean burnt as in blackened?
