I took my 05'LS to Ct. from Chicago twice to the Gathering of the Vibes, music fest. The ride was very comfortable. And not a thing happened to my car! People for the most part, dont go looking to screw up peoples cars. Esp. hippies!! Have a good time.

I got my LS at Lincoln-Mercury dealer in Westmont. I dunno if your buying from a private seller, but they could take a look for ya prolly, if you pay them. lol

My 05' "clunker" just got 26 mpg on road trip from Chicago to Mass. Think I'll keep it a while longer.

we got 28.5 mpg driving to Ct. from Chicago last summer. Pleasantly surprized as gas was over 4.00/gallon last year. =)

yeah, wishin I would have waited a year. Got my 05' last year for 20k, with 20k miles on it. Kickin self now, but OH WELL. Still love my LS

Noticed this morning that in park, my car idles at 1000 rpm, and jumps to around 3k very easily from stop. (not me jumpin on gas), is this a timing issue? what do they do to fix it. < not a mechanic This could effect my gas mileage no? thx.

I got 28mpg on a trip from Chicago to NYC. This was with the trunk loaded with stuff. Around town, I only get about 15.5 mpg, as I drive short distances stop and go. =(

LOL, we didn't drive the car in NYC. Stayed at nice hotel in Jersey right across the Hudson. Car never left parking lot. :)
