What Brake pad brand would you rather have on your car?

Every brake pad manufacturer says their pads stop better. Better
than OEM...maybe. But if you've swapped from one aftermarket brand
to another, and swore that the switch-over was well worth every penny and
will never buy any other brand,.......... which brand and formulation type would
you choose?

For the way I drive Sapper, yes. I don't run up to curves at 75 and try to stop and then stomp on the gas for the next curve. I drive normal and I like ceramic pads and I have 99% zero brake dust. Then again, this is coming from someone that might go through a tank of gas in a month or more lol.

No, seriously, the brakes that have been on my car since the day I bought it are DGC598 Duralast Gold from AZ. They are ceramic and I have never had a problem stopping and I do not ever have any brake dust on my wheels. If I do, it's very minimal. I'm going to go up and remove those part numbers so that I'm not putting out wrong info. I'm not harsh on my brakes and I can go out there right now and take a picture of those pads, being over two years old and they still look like they were just put on. I'm also on normal rotors, no slotted and drilled stuff. Now let me go edit since I'm done brainstorming you. $55.00 + tax and lifetime warranty for the front.

As long as you approve of them, that's what matters. I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend those pads to anyone that drives normal and not hard on their brakes. Now, semi-metallic, I would never put on my car. Don't care what brand they are, how much they cost, it ain't happening. Ceramic is the only way to go IMO.

Last time I used Wagner brake pads and shoes was on an old 77 and 76 Cutlass Supreme I had back in the late 80's. One was a 77 Cutlass Salon 2 door with the shifter in the center and the other was a 76 Supreme 2 door with the shifter on the column. Loved those two cars.

As for any other brakes mentioned above, I couldn't comment on. I just know what I have now has been going for over two years and they don't look like they'll be in need of changing anytime soon.

Fwiw if you don't like dust don't get porterfields. I had both the r4 and r4s. The r4s dusted like crazy.

i used these two. never had a problem.

use auto zone ceramics for my cobra stuff too.
a little bad cold, but warm i can engage the ABS with my 275 tires whenever i feel like it.
