Nice find. Might get this app

Yea Alax I got it today also.

Yea they refunded me 10 bucks for the delays.

I am just glad we finally got it!

How do you plan to hardwire it Alax, I was just gunna cut the car adaptor and run it to the mirror.

Cool!

Yeah I was refunded 10 also, I should've chosen the battery kill switch thing for parking mode but oh well.

I dont know how I'll wire it yet, probably a relay to power 2 or 3 cams once the car if off as my "security" cams.

Oh also, if you haven't noticed, everything is in korean, the manual, the video software, everything. Just go on the blackvue website, go to support, download the sd card formatting file, format the card, then download the 400g 1.38 firmware( updated as of march 7th, 2012). Everything will now be in english.

Oh and i used it on my way to school today, going to check how good the video is right now :D

Nice thanks for the link.

I just got home to inspect it now. Not sure I understand how it works after a brief inspection of the package contents...

Why exactly is there a USB with a large microSD input, when the camera has a small micro SD card?

Not all computers have an sd card port but almost all have usb ports. If you dont have a sd card port, stick the mini sd card into the normal sd card adapter that they provided, stick the sd card adapter into the usb adapter and now onto your usb port on your computer.

Get everything in english and you'll understand, it pretty simple.

You can customize certain things once you open the software on your computer when you install the sd card with the updated firmware.

Basically, when the camera is powered, it will record according to the setting you give it. You can have it always record, record an acccident event, have parking mode on or off. Parking mode, camera is on, but only records when it senses motions. I thought it would turn on to record when it senses motion, this would explain the battery adapter kill switch on their website.

Can you upload a bit to YouTube hd so we can see quality?

I deleted it before even finishing with it, oops. I'll get more tomorrow. I did catch a close call in front of me. Some chick just changed lanes without looking on an on ramp and didn't see the car in the carpool lane coming up, close call.

Glad to see you and the car are safe. I may have to look into the dashcam option myself - the majority of my commute to work is on the highway.

Wow I had no idea that larger microSD had a slot for the small one on it... That explains a lot... lol

I updated it straight to he newest firmware and it was giving me an error and would not work.

I reformatted the card and updated to the previous firmware version, then installed it to the cam.

After that I updated to the newest firmware and it all works now.

Now to install it... I was testing places to mount it and the place I wanted to - (passenger side of mirror above mirror base) doesn't have adequate viewing glass. It picks up the OEM windshield tint strip at the top and it picks up the little black dots around the rainsensor/mirror base item.

I think I am going to mount it below the mirror base. Going to experiment with mounting locations. Also I found out that I can run a live feed to my in dash headunit - just have to pull it out and find the second video input.
