So I recently found my exhaust to be clogged keeping my car from starting.... I cut the pipes behind the catalytic converters and all was well. Tomorrow I am going to the shop and getting a new dual exhaust, but the only way I can get the car there is to DRIVE. Is there really a great possibility of doing harm to the motor by driving it around 30 miles (very easily) to the shop?

You shouldn't but it will be loud as hell and I do mean loud. I ran my old 94 without the exhaust and irritated the neighbors quickly. If you can make it there without the cops catching you, you'll be fine.

Yea, i know it's loud LOL. I start it once daily and let it run for a bit just to keep things normal. I just know the possibility of bent valves when driving without an exhaust.

Cops......eh, the Mark will be loud, surely, but definitely not the loudest thing around here.

Got that right. There are some trucks here that are so loud the drivers have to be wearing hearing aids by now. I'll have a similar (pretty much exactly) exhaust as yours, primary cats, x-pipe, and 2.5" pipes to the rear. At 150 bucks installed you can't be that.

man you are going to love it... you can hear when the imrc opens up. just dont get big truck tips. it will make a big echo and have kinda a rasp ring to it.

and dont expect to sneak up on anyone.

on a side note you should post up some pics of the ride so if we ever cross paths i will know it is you.

I've ran my 93 completely 100% straight piped for 3 years lol

No cats or anything... it is annoying at low speeds but sounds like its going to murder the world at high rpm.

Got new magnaflows/x pipe/cobra manifolds for it eventually

you have the base v6 non sport Lincoln LS wheels!
ditch em or get spacers please. that offset is all wrong.

looks like its been painted? cuz i think i can see the chrome strips in the bumper, but they are definitely not chrome..

The wheels were on the car when I bought it and they used the correct spacers. I'm not a big fan of the wheels either.

it has been painted black with metallic flakes (by the PO) it took aminute to get used to but I'm liking it, looks awesome after a good wash/wax.

Got the exhaust done! The shop did an awesome job and it sounds amazing. I opted out of tips for the moment (budget didn't allow for them yet...) but I'm extremely happy with it. The butt dyno loves it as well.

You need either thicker spacers for those wheels or to get some Mark VIII wheels. They look like they're tucked way up under the fenders. Not to say the wheels look "bad" per se, they're just not the right offset for the Mark VIII. It just looks weird, IMO.

I agree completely. I don't like the wheels at all, but right now funds don't allow for new wheels.
