I have the cobra fuel rail, and I have the fuel lines too. Which side goes to the top of the fuel filter, and which side is the return?

bigger side in, smaller side out?
the lines are set up so they dont plug in backwards.

and the line nearest the FPR will be the out side.

Right on, man. I'm driving an hour south tomorrow to pick up the heads and whatever other parts the guy may have for me.

edit: I actually do have a question that relates to this. Right now I am using a 99-01 cobra fuel rail with my 98 mark viii intake in my swap. when i switch to the cobra intake, i will have to do something else with the rail because the IAC is in the way of the FRPS. Do you think it would be easier to take a 98 cobra fuel rail and "convert" it to returnless? or mod the current rail by moving the frps port? Or any other opinions?

Have you thought about some aftermarket fuel rails? You can do pretty much whatever you want with a set of those.

Of course, it would be more expensive, since you'll need AN lines and an aftermarket regulator and stuff, but it's an idea....
