hey guys most of you probably wont remember me just because I was more of a lurker than actually posting about things, but I used to own a 04 cermaic white v8. Bought it back in summer of 09' woth 80,000 miles, and drove it for a year and sold it around summer of 10' with 95,000 or so . Wasn't really a bad car besides the normal valve cover issues and cop that happened while I owned it. Originally sold it because I live on a farm and it was my dd and I was only 19 at the time so it just really wasnt the best time for me to own it. Plus with being on a farm and DD I didnt want it to get beat up and dirty all the time, and I was screwed in the winter. Ended up letting it go for a good price to a local guy that was a personal chef and as far as I know its been good to him.

Sold it and bought an 06 ford ranger 4x4 that I still have. It just hit 80,000 miles on it and im thinking about paying it off here soon and getting back in an ls. We now have a new farm, I have my own big garage and everything now so I could drive when it its nice, and then when its not or if its winter time, I could put it in the garage and drive the 4x4.

Looking back into another 04/05 just because im partial to the square fogs on the gen 2's. Any new tips or things to keep in mind that have came up since ive been gone will be much appreciated. Thanks

Everything is pretty much the same with the car. Welcome back!

Where is shepherdsville?

haha a small town in kentucky. Actually I need to update my info due to the fact that ive since moved to a new farm, but I live in West Point, Kentucky.

Its just outside of Louisville, Kentucky.

Does kinda seem like stuff died down around here since back in the day. I guess beens the car isn't produced anymore and theres only so many of em, the more years go by the slower it seems to get. I just searched for gen 2's and even with a 200 mile radius, there isn't near as many as there was back in 09 it seems like.

The site goes up and down with activity. Not to many new problems posted very often.. all been figured out..:p good luck with the search, knowing as much about these cars as we do, I think you'd be safe opening up your search a bit. hope you find what your looking for...

Yeah I am prettied well versed in them from owning one before but I am just partial to the gen 2. I also like the square fogs instead of the round ones they went back to in 06 which was my reasons for stick to 03/04/05.

My old 04 was a ceramic white tricoat ultimate v8 and id love to have another one just like it except black but that acourse cuts down my search alot but thats alright because I got some time. I have other vehicles so its just money burning in my pocket, just havta keep looking until I find a black one or even red that I like and jump on it. I just figured by now this site would be booming, but with these cars not being made anymore and more and more years going by, im sure the numbers are just going to get lower and lower.

Well don't limit yourself. If you find an 06 you like you should buy it. I'll be more than happy to swap bumpers w/ fogs :D

haha I appreciate that, im sure you would love that lol

On a side note these cars have seemed to hold there value good, hell I paid like 10 for my 04 v8 ultimate with 80,000 miles almost 2 years ago and the prices seem the same now lol. Good for a seller, not for a buyer.
