The lower control arm arrived this morning. Went to my buddies shop and got it done. Got her aligned too. Missed not driving it. Be going back in storage soon.:(

The ls is home, only to be stored, bummer. I know how it feels to not have your ls or be able to drive it :(

I've gotta say, these cars are addicting, nice ride rollin.

one day we have to get out to st. louis to see niece, hubby and kids, maybe drop by to say hi... no promises about gettin out there, but if we do, will send up a flag

I guess storage is the place to keep a show car

PM me if/when you come to town.:)

Next summer, I am organizing a National LS meet here in St Louis June 15-17. You should try to make it. Looks to be a good turnout.:)

Looking better I must say no chrome on the bumpers.

Notice any diffrence with the new control arm?

Frontend feels a little tighter/stuffer.

It seems I am getting a LOT more looks from other motorist. This evening, I was at Blockbuster. I was standing in line. Notice a guy in a black Charger R/T circle the LS. I kind of chuggled. Few minutes later, as I was checking out. He cameback. Stopped. Gave it a long look and drove off. It felt good to see someone like my LS so much. They had stop and look twice.

Its a great feeling when someone stares down your Ls

I always get " what kind of car is that?" Haha.

Ive replaced just the lower ball joints 2 yrs ago and im getting a creaking noise when I apply the brakes, changed brake pads and so on and still creaks!! So im looking to replace the lower and upper arms with ball joints :(

If you have ES sway bar bushings, you might want to just lube those first. My creaking went away after the lube. (I had to lube them again after 2-3 months the first time).

I do get the occasional "what kind of car is it?" The best story. I was putting gas in the LS. Guy pulls up and ask "Is that the new Lincoln Continental? I need to hit the dealer." Then he takes off. I didn't even get a chance to say "no". Figure that will be one confused dealer, when this guy shows up and starts to discribe my LS as the "new" Continental.
