I have taken my Mark VIII to the top... or have I? haha
P.S. Is there any danger when taking a Mark VIII to it's governor cut off? And I don't mean 'driver danger', I mean for the car.

transmission is really not a fan. they don't deal with the heat well.
and other things like wheel bearings and stuff.

Most stock sized tires aren't speed rated for that.

Other than that..... no worries.

I25 between monument and Castle Rock is a good place to test speed limiters.

My old 94 held 165 MPH for quite a few miles on that stretch.

I heard that I-25 between Denver and CO Springs is a great place to race cops.
