call his local Police, they may not be able to do anything but its worth a try. I got ripped off and did this and an officer was sent to the house, got my money right back....If not contact the local chamber of commerce or District Attorney,,,,

Just make sure you have all the transmissions in regards to the purchase and sale.....
 
I paid $255 through paypal but because my computer was screwing up it wouldn't let me set it as "goods" only as "gift" so I can't dispute it. then i made another payment of $95 as "goods" and that I am disputing.

This suck to read about. Some people are just pathetic, like spray painting someones car... WTF for ?!?, insurance will probably just cover it anyways..... dumba55. Hope it gets resolved Burnng! And $350.. were they entire headlights?
 
That sucks man. Never send money as a gift, I learned that from Pektel, sorry Pete, since a few of us got screwed over by the same member. I sent him 250 I think, but got it back within a week of the opened dispute. Most of us did, except for Pete and one other I think.

Hopefully it's just miscommunication or some sort of easy mistake on his part.
 
I hate this stuff! :mad: Sorry to hear. Do you remember the member "Gipp"? He screwed a couple guys over. They'd pay the guy on parts from his LS and he would send parts alright, but not what they paid him for. One guy paid like 25 bucks for speaker and the guy sent him a fuel filter, that kinda crap.
 
Really hate this kind of stuff. People work hard for their money.

I remember that!...I ALMOST! sent him like $300 for all kinds of parts it was a hell of a deal but it started to seem shady when I hadn't logged on for like a day or two & the guy sent me like 10 pms lowering his price down to like $120 wich shipping alone would be just as much. So I sat back to see if anyone would receive their items & we all know what happend next. Didn't someone get ahold of his gf & talk to her about all the stuff the guy was doing?
 
He seems like a nice person that's why I was hoping that it was a misunderstanding. Glad to hear something is being worked out. Good luck
 
wow, every time i'm having a bad day, i have to log on to here and find the crazy old thread that pete dragged out of the past to give me a laugh and feel better.


also tommy, what is that tools new screen name, and i'm assuming that those guys know about him being a snake in the grass right?
 
No idea if they know. It's like Cobra something or other. Think he has a red Mark VIII now. Can't remember. lol
