Which one tuner or differential

well a tuner will give you more power with what you already got and make your trans feel much sportier.

a LSD with help you get better traction, a good ideal if you are getting a lot of wheel spin now or if you get a lot of snow where you live and would like it to drive better in the winter,

which sounds more beneficial to you?

do all of your mods first then tune the engine to react to the mods, you can't tune an engine for a cold air intake with out having the intake on, it is best to have the tuner and tune as you add parts but its pointless with out the parts to a certain degree. you can always tune the engine to run a little better than stock.

also have you looked at the threads about the diff, there is a lot of work involved, just check it and do plenty of research about it, I'm sure if you are looking at tackeling the job you have the knowledge to do it.

Aren't you the guy that's getting terrible gas mileage? Don't you have the v6 auto? If so I'd definitely get a tuner. A LSD will slightly lower your fuel economy around town because it takes a little extra power to move the car around turns while a tuner should increase your fuel economy if you don't drive harder than normal. Keep in mind that you should be 100% sure your engine has no problems before you tune or the tune won't work right.

I already have a CAI and exhaust. How bad does a tuner mess up your gas mileage?

it should actually improve your gas millage, as the stock turn runs super rich.

however, you will probably enjoy driving it more and thus drive it harder.

I would love a LSD in the LS. Hate those single wheel spin donuts, you really gotta get some momentum to get both rears to slip simultaneously.

Yea the only time for snow is when I go up to the mountains. But I have the V8 sport model. How much would I expect to spend if I get the tuner?

Tuner. Went from an average of 23.5 to 25MPG. For the last 100K miles I have had a 1.5 MPG benefit. The mileage and slight power increase aside a good custom tune is worth the money just for the transmission programming.

I have a tune and LSD. I get pretty tripped out on weekends.
