As for no AC you just might have a leak and no R-134A in the system. Common for cars this old to have leaked out R134a. You need to turn on AC and check if AC compressor clutch is turning on. You can also buy a can of R134a at parts store that has a gauge on it which will tell you if your system is full or empty.
Thanks Frank.
My name is Sigurjon, I did like your work there on the headers and exhaust, very nice work. I don't want to go this far for now, just want to "open" the exhaust a little. One thing, is it necessary to have the x-exhaust under the car? Like the muffler/silencer you installed in the center under your car?
I was thinking to start with, removing the cats and replacing the mufflers in the rear with more open mufflers, 2 pipes from the engine headers and in the rear mufflers.
Regarding the AC and the fan only blowing hot air, if the AC is in the passenger side of the car (right hand side) I can see when idling it kicks in and stops, is that normal? I will try tomorrow to check if the R134a is missing in the system.
Shouldn't I be able to get cold air inside the car regardless of the AC?
I only get hot air and it is very irritating.
