...hey guys, wondering if any of you wiring experts can help me here... im curious if its possible to isolate the door trigger on all four doors with a single rocker switch. I have the viper 5900 alarm installed and they had to use a relay to prevent the "false alarm trigger" from the computer every 30 minutes - im sure your familiar with this problem. I have that diagram for the relay, im just wondering if there is a way to completely isolate the door trigger with a rocker switch in effect creating a dome override switch that would prevent the lights from coming on when a door is opened. Any insight would be excellent. Thanks :D

Well..... The trigger is located in the latch mechanism....

...any ideas where those wires go? ...i figured i could isolate each door individually, but that would be kinda pointless... they all have to meet somewhere and plug into a module that could notify the main computer that a door was open... i just wish i knew where that was... :/

interior light override

Gen 1 LS....The door ajar signal remains separate from all 4 doors(they don't connect to each other), the 2 rear door ajar signals go to the REM(C420c pin 16 black/orange wire & C420d pin17 black/green wire) and the 2 front door ajar signals go to the FEM(C201f black/yellow wire & C201e black/blue wire). If your aftermarket alarm is getting it's signal from the interior lights, it would be easier to add an on/off switch to the interior lights as they all have a common ground signal controlled by the FEM (C201f pin 12 orange wire).
